This is the aim for the Peace In Schools project :
To deliver a programme for 14-17 year olds at school, based on mindful meditation, mindful compassion and mindful acceptance.
To create a safe space for young people to explore their emotional, mental, family and spiritual lives using meditation as a base practice.
To provide a safe container for young people to learn how to cope with stress/anxiety, to trust, to be happy, to create stronger friendships, to deal with negative feelings, to be patient, to deal with anger, to communicate better and to build safer boundaries. We want young people to learn skills that will last a lifetime, to be ok with who they are.
And that no matter what happens, to know that we are all worthy of love.
